Woman thinking about a new wardrobe after Covid.

It looks like we can finally see the light at the end of the Covid 19 tunnel! After a year of hunkering down, WFH adjustments and weird anxieties, we can tell it's only a matter of time before we'll get to actually get dressed again - YAY!

But not so fast, we're not the same as before, and at least at first we're not going to want to dress the same as before either. If you're anything like me, you've been looking at your closet and not feeling it anymore.

Dont get me wrong, I have a closet full of fantastic items that I love, but I don't feel like that person right now. I can see what attracted me to all of it. I could still wear it and get compliments. But I have this craving to torch it all and start fresh! Are you feeling the same thing?

This is a new and foreign feeling for me. When I'm out and about in the shops, I see A LOT of comfort clothes and sneakers and Birkenstocks, none of which is me at all.

So here's what I've decided to do. I'm writing this as much for myself as I am for you in hopes that my plan will give you direction. I'm going to start with where I always have my clients start, at the beginning.

Start Here: Answer this question. How do I want to feel? Answer in 3 describing words. My answer used to be bold, fabulous and colorful. And although a part of me will always love bold, fabulous and colorful, I'm ready for a different vibe. My new description is sharp, sporty and luxurious which is a very different thing.

"With that new definition/direction, I can now shop for pieces that fit this emerging new version of me, adding them in and giving myself a much needed style boost."

You can't skip this step. If you're not clear from the start, you run the risk of picking random stuff that won't give you the boost you're looking for.

The reason you start with a definition is that the choices are practically unlimited. You can get your hands on anything these days. So before you go out there, you have to be clear or you will get swayed by shiny objects and trends that you should probably steer away from.

If you're feeling like an update and you'd like my help to pull it together, reach out and give me a call or shoot me an email. Virtually or in person we can make it happen. We all deserve a fresh start and an updated version of you is a powerful catalyst for what's to come into your future.

Peace. Love & Fashion,

Anne
